Description

Build, operate, and maintain network devices within the Virginia Data Center. Support migration from Denver to Richardson Data Center.

Responsibilities

• Configure routing protocols, ports, and VLANs while managing network modifications with change control teams.
• Design and implement enterprise LAN/WAN upgrades, including Basis of Design and technical drawings.
• Perform methodical fault isolation and provide after-hours or weekend support for critical changes.
• Develop Concepts of Operation and detailed design documentation for network infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on proficiency with BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF routing protocols.
• Deep understanding of STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, R-PVST, and VPC.
• Experience with MPLS, DMVPN, and VRF WAN technologies.
• Ability to configure route leaking, redistribution, and route-maps.
• Proficiency with network management tools including SNMP, Netflow, SolarWinds, NetBrain, and Wireshark.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
