Description

You will engineer spine and leaf fabric architectures for mobile switching centers and manage network engineering projects from procurement through service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Translate network designs into functional configurations within spine/leaf networks.
• Build Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and utilize automated workflows to deploy initial configurations.
• Engineer interconnection solutions for Cloud Platforms (VCP) to support capacity expansion.
• Work with underlay and overlay controllers for network modeling, creation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with PNF, VNF application teams, and architecture groups to develop future networks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of IP Layer 1-3 for Edge Networks and MPLS.
• Experience with MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with network virtualization, VXLAN, and/or Segment Routing.
• Functional knowledge of TCP/IP, including IPv4 and IPv6.
• Experience building Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and deploying network configurations.
• Ability to understand end-to-end call flows for deploying network services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools such as Cisco (VTX), Itential (IAI), or HPNA.
• Proficiency with Linux, OpenStack, Python, and scripting.
