Description

You will design, maintain, and secure statewide network infrastructure, owning the architecture from LAN and WAN to cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Center, and Cloud.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, load balancers, and security appliances.
• Perform high-tier troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex network issues.
• Lead major network projects for capacity growth, upgrades, and hardware/software integrations.
• Develop technical documentation, including diagrams, design documents, and project plans.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
• CCNP certification required.
• Palo Alto experience and PCNSE certification required.
• Proficiency with scalable routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Palo Alto platforms.
• Expertise in SD-WAN, WAN optimization, and advanced WAN service layers.
• Deep knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 optimization and boundary virtual switching systems.
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access, micro-segmentation, and SDN.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status required; must have resided in the U.S. for the past 10 years.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Enterprise VoIP and physical security network applications.
• Knowledge of Quality-of-Service (QoS) design and implementation.
