Description

You will design, deploy, and provide Level 3 engineering support for transport technologies and electrical infrastructure communications.

Design telecommunications systems to support substations, pole-tops, and distribution automation.

Deploy and manage transport technologies including Microwave (Aviat), WiMAX (3.6GHz and 5GHz), and WAN mesh.

Resolve technical problems using existing procedures and develop enhanced engineering protocols.

Support projects to ensure on-time and on-budget implementation for substation and distribution operations.

Manage field area networks and Distribution Automation (IoT) technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy telecommunications systems for substations and distribution automation.
• Implement transport technologies including Microwave (Aviat) and WiMAX.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications.
• Hands-on experience with WiMAX technology.
• Experience managing WAN technologies and Cisco networking environments.
• Expertise in Microwave (Aviat) technology.
• Knowledge of Distribution Automation (IoT) and field area networks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
