Description

You will manage and maintain LAN infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support network development projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues, including replacing defective hardware.
• Design and implement process improvements for network development and support.
• Collaborate with technical teams to plan and execute changes involving firewalls, VPNs, wireless, and NAC.
• Work with business partners and vendors to integrate infrastructure.
• Provide off-shift support for critical incidents via a rotating on-call schedule.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in progressive network engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, and IP subnetting.
• Hands-on experience with LAN implementation and support.
• Proficiency with OSPF, VLANs, and VLAN trunking.
• Experience with switching configuration and QoS.
• Functional experience with Cisco switches and Cisco equipment.
• Knowledge of cabling standards for both copper and fiber.
• Degree in a computer-related or engineering field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Experience with automation technologies and scripting.
• Experience with Cisco DNA Center (Catalyst Center).
