Description

You will design, install, and maintain complex network systems for our Fayetteville operations. You will own the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Cisco networking infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions, including configuration and administration of Cisco devices.
• Isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to WAN/LAN optimization, VoIP, video, and encryption devices.
• Execute contingency plans for hardware and software failures to manage isolated or major outages.
• Monitor and tune network performance using tools to trace data and protocol activity.
• Oversee system specifications, integration, testing, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Proficiency with EIGRP, route redistribution, and route filtering.
• Hands-on experience with Multicast, QoS, and NBAR.
• Strong knowledge of GRE tunnels and Layer 2/3 switching.
• Experience with interVLAN routing, NAT, and VPNs.
• Competency in Spanning Tree, standard/extended ACLs, and TACACS.
• Experience using Solarwinds and Riverbeds for monitoring and optimization.
• Ability to work with encryption devices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing enterprise-level support for test and evaluation centers.
