Description

You will design and implement secure enterprise network solutions and connectivity services at Fort Meade, MD.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design secure wide area connectivity, including underlay, overlay, and COI transport designs.
• Perform legacy environment discovery to assess current configurations and requirements for new architecture development.
• Develop secure wired and wireless access solutions and associated transition plans.
• Identify legacy service paths, such as dataflow and firewall rulesets, to design sustainable enterprise service capabilities.
• Collaborate with information assurance teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and provide accreditation artifacts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience designing IPv4 and IPv6 addressing schemes.
• Proficiency with ACLs.
• Ability to perform network optimization and capacity planning.
• Experience with capacity scaling for network and security stack environments.
• Ability to work on-site in Fort Meade, MD, 5 days a week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DoD accreditation processes and standards.
