Description

You will design, configure, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN environments while ensuring high availability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless APs.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and manage firewalls, proxies, and load balancers.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with system admins, cloud engineers, and security teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure operations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Experience with enterprise networking hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, or Fortinet.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools like PRTG, SolarWinds, or Wireshark.
• Hands-on experience with VPN, SSL, and IPsec remote access technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Working knowledge of network security principles and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud networking such as AWS VPCs or Azure VNets.
• Relevant certifications including CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Fortinet NSE.
