Network Engineer

You will manage complex network security programs and lead technical implementations for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead virtualized network infrastructure implementations, roll-outs, and migrations including hands-on NSX deployment.
• Develop low-level designs and use case requirements while acting as an advisory resource for VMware solutions.
• Own individual deliverables and define project requirements, issues, and constraints alongside project managers.
• Perform impact assessments and manage implementation, roll-back, and close-down plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in networking.
• Master's degree in Computer Networking, System Administration, Network Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency with VMware and NSX implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows/Unix environments.
• Deep understanding of LANs, WANs, internet technology, and network protocols.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and firewalls.
• Knowledge of storage area networks (SAN) and/or hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate technical work with external agencies and executive-level representatives.
