Description

Manage operational network maintenance, incident resolution, and circuit monitoring for the Getzville, NY site.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line technical support for network hardware and circuits.
• Monitor network faults, remediate alerts, and manage operational handover duties.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and assist with periodic network reviews.
• Develop operational procedures, support documentation, and network operations policies.
• Manage carrier issues and hardware RMAs while implementing necessary changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network operations or NOC environments.
• Strong knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• CCNA or CCNP certification required.
• Ability to troubleshoot carrier issues and manage hardware RMAs.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers, and WAN accelerators.
• Scripting and programming skills using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
