Description

You will configure and maintain core cable and network infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis and device analysis for modem and CPE issues.
• Build and validate network testing labs using switches, PDUs, modems, and ONUs.
• Analyze Wi-Fi firmware and device logs to troubleshoot connectivity problems.
• Operate and maintain CPE DOCSIS (CM), CMTS, and iCMTS systems.
• Utilize Linux jump boxes for operations, including Bash configuration and SSH key authentication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with DOCSIS standards 3.0, 3.1, and 4.0.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Shell, and SQL.
• Experience with REST APIs and Linux systems.
• Familiarity with AIDMA and OFDMA concepts.
• Knowledge of Cable Modem Configuration files and CPE operations.
• Experience with CMTS and iCMTS environments.
