Description

You will design and analyze 3GPP wireless networks, focusing on RF coverage and software requirement integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert high-level project scopes into phased, actionable, and deliverable steps.
• Research, document, and evangelize RF coverage and design parameters across various frequency bands.
• Conduct RF coverage, capacity, and design analysis using tools like ATOLL.
• Collaborate with software architects and RF design teams to define requirements for improved design and deployment software tools.
• Summarize and present RF analysis outcomes, identifying conclusions and necessary next steps.

Required Skills

• MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in 3GPP wireless network analysis and design.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in wireless communication, specifically RF propagation modeling.
• Proficiency with RF design software such as ATOLL and iBwave.
• 5+ years of experience drafting and collecting implementable software requirements.
• Experience working directly with software architects and RF design teams.
• Ability to produce formal research products, including requirements documents and PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify technical gaps and opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for educating internal staff and external contractors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience specifying enhancement requirements for existing and new APIs.
