Description

Manage network connectivity and hardware deployment across county government sites in Pennsylvania. You will handle onsite physical installation, connectivity verification, and troubleshooting to ensure stable links between local counties and the Commonwealth.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite physical installation of networked equipment, including Winterm devices, at local county sites.
• Verify local network support for traffic passing back to the Commonwealth through connectivity testing.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues to identify points of failure.
• Liaise between county network teams, Commonwealth staff, and deployment vendors to resolve routing or firewall issues.
• Maintain and improve connectivity between counties and the Commonwealth following initial deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Deep understanding of LAN/WAN architectures.
• Proficiency with network routing concepts.
• Experience managing Firewall Access Control.
• Expertise in network troubleshooting on complex networks.
• Ability to perform physical onsite equipment installation.
• Ability to travel to local county government sites within Pennsylvania using a personal vehicle.
• Experience acting as a technical liaison between multiple stakeholder teams.
• Degree in any field.
