Description

Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and SD-WAN edge appliances.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage switches, routers, firewalls, Silver Peak SD-WAN edge appliances, wireless infrastructure, and cellular-based appliances.
• Design LAN/WAN architecture, perform bandwidth analysis, capacity planning, and create schematic engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot complex network problems and resolve incidents using ServiceNow for ticketing and documentation.
• Execute planned deployments, upgrades, and change management efforts within the edge networking group.
• Create Visio diagrams to document new and existing network elements and configuration standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Expertise in LAN/WAN architecture and management.
• Hands-on experience with Silver Peak SD-WAN edge appliances.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and automation.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols.
• Experience with ServiceNow for incident resolution and reporting.
• Ability to create technical documentation and Visio diagrams.
