Description

You will design, implement, and support Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) for the Enterprise ZTNA program.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ZPA connectivity, including App Connectors, Server Groups, and Application Segments.
• Translate legacy VPN requirements into ZPA application-level access models and least-privileged policies.
• Onboard applications to ZPA by validating network paths, ports, protocols, and dependencies.
• Troubleshoot access failures, connectivity issues, and connector health problems.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and ensure compliance with security governance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, routing, firewalling, DNS, and traffic flow analysis.
• Hands-on experience implementing Zscaler Private Access or similar Zero Trust Network Access platforms.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust concepts and application-level segmentation.
• Ability to analyze complex legacy environments and design scalable access models.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments with strict security standards.
• Excellent technical documentation and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Zscaler certifications (Digital Transformation Administrator/Engineer) or CCNP, Security+, CySA+.
• Experience with CJIS, NIST 800-53, or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Background in multi-agency or public-sector enterprise environments.
