Description

You will design, build, and maintain secure network infrastructure for the 39 Information Operations Squadron Formal Training Unit.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and install network services, hardware, systems, and software.
• Administer and maintain NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS systems and networks.
• Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, firewalls, server operating systems, and RAID configurations.
• Terminate and install copper and fiber optic cabling for workstations and patch panels.
• Develop technical documentation including SOPs, architecture maps, and knowledge articles.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Current DoD 8140 certification (Security+ primary).
• Experience configuring Cisco, Palo Alto, and pfSense firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with JWICS, DHCP, and Linux.
• Knowledge of network design and system requirements verification.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible shifts as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree.
• Cisco CCNA certification or higher.
• VMware, Windows, or Linux certifications.
