Description

Manage large-scale data center networking operations within a GNOC environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage L2 network operations for large data centers in ISP or cloud provider environments.
• Handle incident, change, and service requests, leading RCA and RMA processes.
• Contribute to major incident calls for Sev1 and Sev2 outages.
• Configure and maintain spine-leaf architectures and routing protocols.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a GNOC or large-scale ISP/Cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper, Arista, and Cisco routers and switches.
• Proficiency with BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and port channel configurations.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and MPLS.
• Experience with spine-leaf architecture and commodity Ethernet hardware like Broadcom or Mellanox.
• Knowledge of VPN and SSL protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network automation using Python, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Cisco or Juniper certifications.
• Familiarity with Jira.
