Description

You will maintain and troubleshoot core network infrastructure within a large Data Center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage network operations at L2 within a GNOC environment.
• Handle incidents, changes, and service requests.
• Contribute to Major incident calls for Sev1 and Sev2.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and manage RMA processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a large ISP or cloud provider environment.
• Experience managing routers and switches from Juniper, Arista, and Cisco vendors.
• Proficiency with routing protocols: BGP, ISIS, OSPF.
• Experience with IP protocols: TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6.
• Familiarity with core services: DNS, DHCP, MPLS.
• Protocol experience with TCP, VPN, and SSL.
• Working knowledge of Spine leaf architectures.
• Exposure to commodity Ethernet hardware (Broadcom/Melanox).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Automation, Python, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Jira.
• Cisco or Juniper certifications.
