You will provide architectural assistance in the design, configuration, and support of core, extended, and Business Partner Organization networks.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain networking technologies including QOS, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, VLANS, HSRP, and SD-WAN.
Manage network incidents by determining Mean Time to Resolution, prioritizing critical services, and communicating status to Major Incident Management and executive staff.
Operate and support Network Management Systems such as SolarWinds, Orion, Kiwi, and Network Access Control (NAC).
Develop and implement scripts for automated change deployment and manage automated configuration technologies like ClearPass (TACACS) and AAA.
Monitor network capacity, bandwidth, availability, and latency while maintaining detailed documentation and network drawings.
Ensure compliance with Information Security standards, including SOX and PCI, within the Change Management process.
Required Skills
Experience with TCP/IP routing and switching protocols: QOS, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, VLANS, HSRP, TACACS, VoIP, DMVPN, and PfR.
Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, broadband, and cellular technology.
Proficiency with cloud technologies including Azure and AWS.
Knowledge of NAC technologies (ClearPass preferred) and IPAM technologies.
Experience with wireless, microwave, and cellular radio technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server operating environments and Linux.
Ability to work with network media including CAT5, CAT6, SMF, MMF, and SFP.
Competency in using Microsoft Visio for network drawings and Microsoft Project for project management.
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or MIS, or equivalent professional experience.
