Description

You will maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure components, configuring routers, switches, and firewalls while managing IP addressing and segmentation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure network stability.
• Implement and maintain IP addressing schemes including DHCP, SLAAC, and Static IP.
• Manage network segmentation using VLANs and subnetting to optimize traffic flow.
• Perform break/fix operations, utilizing console access and SCM modules for resolution.
• Use inventory management systems to track and maintain network assets.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS operating systems.
• Experience with network management protocols: SSH, Telnet, HTTP/HTTPS.
• Working knowledge of DHCP, SLAAC, and Static IP assignment.
• Understanding of VLANs and subnetting principles.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewall operation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating within a network lab environment.
• Knowledge of lab safety procedures and best practices.
