Description

You will design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure while providing operational support for IT systems. You will configure network equipment, assess existing configurations, and provide technical recommendations to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet specific business requirements.
• Operate, monitor, and manage network infrastructure, including data engineering tasks.
• Configure network equipment and software, producing documentation and training for ongoing support.
• Assess current network configurations and provide technical recommendations based on product specifications.
• Collaborate on large-scale projects or manage individual support visits and smaller technical initiatives.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in network engineering and technical services.
• Proficiency in network administration, specifically DHCP, DNS, routers, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with IP subnetting and Telnet/SSH clients.
• Experience with Raritan or Terminal Server Remote Access tools.
• Strong background in network monitoring and administration.
• Degree from an accredited four-year college in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet firewalls.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools including Solar Winds, Splunk, Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus, NNMi, Netscout Infinistream, and protocol analyzers.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio for network diagramming and documentation.
