Description

Validate product quality by testing large, complex, end-to-end network environments and emulating strategic customer topologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and build network topologies required to test specific use cases.
• Configure hardware, features, and traffic generators to emulate realistic environments.
• Execute exhaustive test plans focusing on performance, scale, and feature interaction.
• Troubleshoot failures and performance issues through root cause analysis and bug documentation.
• Collaborate with development, sales, and TAC teams to communicate results and assist with escalations.

Required Skills

• Master's degree in telecommunications, computer engineering, or computer networking.
• 5+ years of experience in a System test or Solution test role handling complex end-to-end environments.
• Deep working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies including OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, MPLS, eVPN, ECMP, VRRP, STP, RSTP, MST, and PVST+.
• Experience with Ethernet link aggregation and LACP.
• Proficiency in layer-2/3-switch administration using industry-standard CLI and SNMP interfaces.
• Familiarity with Linux networking tools such as ping, traceroute, tcpdump, ifconfig, ip link, ip route, arp, and iperf.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or TCL.
