Description

You will design, build, and maintain network infrastructure across all supported environments and sites.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and manage the full lifecycle of network devices, including patching and hardware configuration.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and collaborate on optimization efforts.
• Secure systems by establishing policies, defining access, and enforcing standards like STIGs and IAVAs.
• Coordinate circuit and VPN configurations for Production and COOP sites on NIPR and SIPR networks.
• Execute and document change requests, including monthly and out-of-cycle ASI events.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and administration.
• Extensive experience with Cisco hardware (Nexus 7k, Firepower, 2960 switches) and Cisco ISE/TACACS.
• Hands-on expertise with F5 load balancers and Cisco firewalls.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, DNS, and proxy servers.
• Proficiency in routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
• Strong knowledge of switching, VLANs, and Layer 2 technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds.
• Must hold and maintain a valid Security+ certification.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Recruiting Services Network (RSN).
• Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) findings and resolution.
