Description

You will design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, VLAN, and VPN networks while managing infrastructure across Cisco, F5, and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure structured network cabling, wireless networks, and active components including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Manage Cisco-based routing and switching, specifically implementing VLANs and maintaining wireless connectivity.
• Operate and maintain F5 and CSM load balancers to ensure service availability.
• Perform break/fix engineering, troubleshoot network connectivity issues, and handle server administration.
• Configure Routing and Remote Access services, VPNs, and VoIP systems.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS for routing and switching.
• Proficiency with network protocols including TCP/IP, Ethernet, and Token Ring.
• Strong knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and network security principles.
• Experience managing routers, switches, hubs, and firewalls.
• Ability to manage LAN/WAN, VPN, and Remote Desktop configurations.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Macintosh OSX environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for network connectivity issues.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Business, or IT with 6 months of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of progressive experience.
