Description

You will manage and maintain network infrastructure to ensure performance, stability, and availability across the organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer routers, firewalls, switches, and servers, including racking, stacking, and decommissioning hardware.
• Configure and implement security policies, ACLs, and NAT/PAT on Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Deploy and manage Site-to-Site IPSec and remote access VPNs using Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, and Cisco routers.
• Design and install Palo Alto security features, including application/URL filtering and threat prevention.
• Perform IOS and firmware upgrades on network devices while ensuring compliance with NERC requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and administration.
• Proficiency with routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, RIP, and EIGRP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware including 1800, 2800, 3600, 4300 series routers, Nexus 7K/5K, and ASA firewalls.
• Experience with Juniper hardware including EX-series switches, MX-480, and SRX series firewalls.
• Direct experience configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls.
• Ability to design and implement VPN connections using Checkpoint and Cisco technologies.
• Experience with hardware installation, cabling, and site turn-ups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and developing automation or scripting solutions for network tasks.
