Description

Resolve complex DOCSIS and CMTS infrastructure issues by analyzing field data and replicating environments in a lab.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot chronic network issues by replicating field environments to identify root causes.
• Analyze operational data to diagnose and resolve complex network faults.
• Collaborate with vendors to develop permanent fixes or functional workarounds for persistent disruptions.
• Investigate end-to-end cable network architecture to maintain service stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Deep understanding of DOCSIS and CMTS protocols.
• Experience with PONF and Passive Optical Networks.
• Strong knowledge of cable network architecture from end to end.
• Hands-on experience with RF components and access networks.
• Active CCNP certification.
• Ability to perform deep-dive technical troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Background in routing and switching.
