Description

You will act as the subject matter expert for the enterprise data network, owning the design, configuration, and deployment of WAN, LAN, firewalls, and load balancing infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and load balancers.
• Provide architectural support and serve as the final escalation point for complex network issues.
• Ensure network redundancy, high availability, and perform failover testing across all enterprise WAN connectivity.
• Mentor junior team members, establish configuration standards, and maintain support documentation.
• Secure network platforms from vulnerabilities and manage patching cycles for all software and hardware.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Aruba switching, routing, and VXLAN.
• Experience implementing Aruba wireless solutions in office and manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Citrix NetScaler Load Balancing, including GSLB.
• Strong background in Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and SD-WAN.
• Deep understanding of IPSec Site-to-site VPNs (both dynamic and static).
• CCNP certification required.
• Experience with network segmentation and firewall management.
• Ability to manage procurement and implementation of public and private circuits.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE or equivalent certification in Aruba and Fortinet.
• Experience with Solarwinds, FortiManager, Ansible, or Fabric Composer.
