Description

You will own the operations, troubleshooting, and rollout of large-scale DWDM and optical networks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute rollout and daily operations for DWDM and optical network infrastructure.
• Perform optical planning and modelling using industry-standard tools.
• Troubleshoot DWDM and optical systems using strong network analysis fundamentals.
• Maintain network integrity through rigorous analysis of routing and switching protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in Optical Network Operations or Support.
• Deep expertise in DWDM and optical technologies.
• Proficiency with optical planning and modelling tools.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, and IGMP.
• Hands-on experience with LDP, TACACS, IPsec, and VPNs.
• Functional understanding of Netflow, DNS, and HTTP.
• Solid grasp of T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3, OC48), and VLANs/STP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IPv4/IPv6 internals and TCP flow control.
