Description

Design, build, and administer network infrastructure including data center, wireless, wired, voice, and telephony systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build new infrastructure such as data centers, load balancers, and UPS through design, planning, and risk assessment.
  • Manage product roadmaps and maintenance procedures while collaborating with Systems Administrators and Security teams for compliance.
  • Set up and monitor infrastructure alerts, events, and reports for network and environmental health.
  • Respond to Tier 2 service desk tickets and production outages within established SLAs.
  • Support monthly Saturday maintenance windows and off-hours software deployments.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Routing and Switching.
  • 5+ years of experience in Firewall Maintenance.
  • 4+ years of experience with Load Balancers.
  • 3+ years of experience in IP Telephony.
  • 3+ years of experience in Linux or Windows OS.
  • 3+ years of experience in MS networking.
  • 3+ years of experience in Storage and Virtualized environments.
  • 3+ years of experience in Network and System Monitoring.
  • 3+ years of experience in Scripting.
  • Knowledge of NIST and FISMA compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cisco wireless technology, management controllers, phone systems, and Cisco UCS.
  • Implementing QoS for video and voice communications.
  • Implementing and supporting BGP, VMware, and Microsoft Active Directory design and migrations.
