Description

You will design, implement, and maintain diverse network infrastructures across multiple access and wide area technologies. You assess existing network gaps and propose technical solutions to the project team. You design and implement network overlays including SD-WAN and VPN technologies. You document network systems using Visio drawings, implementation plans, and handoff documentation. You analyze and solve complex networking issues across LAN, PAN, and LWAN environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network overlays including SD-WAN and VPN technologies.
• Assess existing network gaps and propose technical solutions to the project team.

• Analyze and solve complex networking issues across LAN, PAN, and LWAN environments.
• Manage IPsec VPN tunnels with or without GRE.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and design.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols including EIGRP and BGP.
• Proficiency with MPLS, Dynamic VPN, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience managing network security via firewalls and proxies.
• Knowledge of switching and various WAN technologies like L3 MPLS, VPLS, and DWDM.
• Familiarity with wireless technologies including Mesh, WiMax, and Point-to-Point radio links.
• Understanding of connectivity methods such as LTE-e, 4G/5G, xDSL, FTTH, and LEO satellite services.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage IPsec VPN tunnels with or without GRE.
