Description

You will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures across multiple access and wide area technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network overlays including SD-WAN and VPN technologies.
• Assess existing network gaps and propose technical solutions to the project team.
• Document network systems using Visio drawings, implementation plans, and handoff documentation.
• Analyze and solve complex networking issues across LAN, PAN, and LWAN environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and design.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols including EIGRP and BGP.
• Proficiency with MPLS, Dynamic VPN, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience managing network security via firewalls and proxies.
• Knowledge of switching and WAN technologies like L3 MPLS, VPLS, and DWDM.
• Familiarity with wireless technologies including Mesh, WiMax, and Point-to-Point radio links.
• Understanding of connectivity methods such as LTE-e, 4G/5G, xDSL, FTTH, and LEO satellite services.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage IPsec VPN tunnels with or without GRE.
