Description

You own the design, administration, and advanced troubleshooting of the network infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer WAN/LAN networks, enterprise wireless, cloud administration (Azure), SD WAN, and Cisco/Palo Alto firewall environments.
• Troubleshoot Level 3 and advanced network issues, ensuring timely resolution and providing appropriate solutions.
• Investigate network ticket causes, test solutions, and suggest fixes to reduce resolution time.
• Initiate improvements for tooling requirements gathering and processes across SolarWinds, Panorama, Prime, Cisco DNA, and InfoBlox.
• Manage upgrades for existing and new network hardware and software.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, including OSPF, BGP, and iWAN.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, and Stack switches.
• Proficiency in firewall administration, specifically Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FP, and Checkpoint.
• Experience managing network services using ServiceNow and adhering to ITIL Change Management processes.
• Strong understanding of backbone protocols like MPLS.
• Experience with Azure Networking and general Network Administration.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to mentor Level 1/2 support resources on network issues.
