Description

You will design, implement, and manage the local area network and associated infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement LANs including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Manage and monitor daily LAN operations, performing analysis to resolve connectivity issues.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, enforcing firewall rules and VPNs.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting for critical systems like EMR and PACS.
• Maintain detailed network topology diagrams and report on network performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer focusing on LAN technologies.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, OSPF, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper network hardware.
• In-depth knowledge of network security practices, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience supporting healthcare networks adhering to HIPAA and HITECH regulations.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SD-WAN and MPLS.
