Description

You will act as a subject matter expert for multivendor enterprise data centers and remote networks, providing L3-level support for incidents, leading P1 and P2 issues, and managing complex changes within strict SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer LAN, WAN, wireless, and security infrastructure.
• Analyze existing infrastructure to recommend modifications for improved reliability, scalability, and availability.
• Resolve repetitive incidents by working on bug tickets to implement permanent fixes.
• Create knowledge base documentation, network diagrams, configuration templates, and SOPs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and administration.
• Expertise with Cisco Nexus (9k, 7k, 5k), Catalyst switches, and Cisco Routers (ASR, ISR, Meraki).
• Hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless Controllers, Access Points, and Airwave, including heatmap creation.
• Proficiency with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, IP SLA, and PBR.
• Deep understanding of switching technologies: RSTP, LACP, VPC, VSS, FEX, and Nexus 1000v.
• Administrative experience with Juniper SRX, NSX, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco ISE for NAC, identity management, Radius, and TACACS.
• Ability to automate complex system tasks using Python scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using protocol analyzers and Layer 2/Layer 3 concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
