Description

You will design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network solutions for enterprise environments. You are responsible for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal uptime, and maintaining accurate documentation of configurations and diagrams. You will collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to execute network upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with client-specific security standards and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network architectures.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
• Execute network upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects.
• Maintain network documentation, including configurations and topology diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or support roles.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Fortinet.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex network environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Fluency in German is a plus.
