Description

You will provide technical and engineering support for LAN, WAN, wireless, and VoIP deployments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and support Cisco routers, data switches, and wireless access points.
• Implement and analyze firewall rules using Cisco and Checkpoint hardware.
• Manage hardware load balancing services using F5 Big-IP devices, including LTM, GTM, and ASM.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, technical schematics, and configuration databases.
• Migrate legacy systems to new platforms and perform necessary system upgrades.
• Develop support guidelines and checklists for Tier 1 personnel.
• Conduct user acceptance testing for new and existing telecommunications systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Proficiency with Cisco network equipment and IOS, IOS XE, and Nexus configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Experience managing F5 traffic managers (LTM, GTM, ASM).
• Strong understanding of Ethernet networks, including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Practical knowledge of VPN configurations for remote user and site access.
• Ability to work with Cisco Wi-Fi and Wireless Access Points (WAP).
• Competency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, and Outlook.
• Availability to work nights and weekends as required.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco and Checkpoint certifications.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
