Description

Configure, install, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, and VoIP deployments. Manage Cisco routers, data switches, and wireless access points. Implement and analyze firewall rules using Cisco and Checkpoint hardware. Maintain F5 Big-IP devices, including LTM, GTM, and ASM for load balancing. Migrate legacy systems to new platforms and perform necessary upgrades. Develop support guidelines and checklists for Tier 1 personnel. Conduct user acceptance testing for telecommunications systems. Maintain accurate network documentation, technical schematics, and configuration databases.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Cisco routers, data switches, and wireless access points.
• Implement and analyze firewall rules using Cisco and Checkpoint hardware.
• Manage F5 Big-IP devices, including LTM, GTM, and ASM.
• Migrate legacy systems to new platforms and perform system upgrades.
• Conduct user acceptance testing for new and existing telecommunications systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS, IOS XE, and Nexus configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Experience managing F5 traffic managers (LTM, GTM, ASM).
• Strong understanding of Ethernet networks, including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Practical knowledge of VPN configurations for remote user and site access.
• Ability to work with Cisco Wi-Fi and Wireless Access Points (WAP).
• Competency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, and Outlook.
• Availability to work nights and weekends as required.
