Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the onsite technical resource for OT network engineering initiatives.
  • Design, deploy, and support secure and resilient network infrastructure for manufacturing and industrial environments.
  • Lead implementation and adoption of OT network solutions and standards.
  • Implement network segmentation, IDMZ, firewalls, access controls, and secure connectivity.
  • Support enterprise LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, redundancy, and wireless networking.
  • Provide escalation support for complex network incidents and service requests while meeting applicable SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues across plant-floor, automation, and edge-connected systems.
  • Support network monitoring, high availability, maintenance activities, cutovers, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, plant engineering, operations, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Translate production and business requirements into effective OT network solutions.
  • Develop network documentation, standards, implementation procedures, and architecture guidance.
  • Mentor and train local IT support teams and operational personnel on OT networking and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive Network Engineering experience.
  • Strong experience supporting OT, industrial, or manufacturing network environments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, secure network architecture, and high-availability solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, and network monitoring.
  • Experience with network segmentation and IDMZ architecture.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in production and high-availability environments.
  • Experience supporting deployments, maintenance windows, cutovers, and operational support.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to mentor support personnel and drive technical tasks through completion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or plant-floor networking experience.
  • Knowledge of OT cybersecurity, industrial protocols, automation, and control systems.
  • Experience with large-scale OT network deployments or plant modernization.
  • Experience working with production engineering, maintenance, and operations teams.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent networking/security certifications
