Description

You will manage network security and core infrastructure, focusing on firewall administration and data center LAN refreshes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, and other network equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and configuration-based network issues.
• Document network configurations and architectures for troubleshooting.
• Support users by resolving connectivity and resource access issues.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Hands-on expertise in Routing and Switching.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience configuring Cisco, Nexus, and vendor-specific hardware.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and WLAN architectures.
• Practical understanding of security principles, VPNs, and data protection.
• Experience with SolarWinds monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with ISE NAC and Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ACI Fabrics, including automation and scripting.
