Description

You will manage and optimize network infrastructure and security systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network equipment, including mainframes, routers, and physical hardware.
• Design and maintain firewalls, update virus protection, and manage data security software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot networking issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures and adhere to security best practices.
• Communicate technical status and resolutions to management and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 2 to 4 years of experience in networking or software engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols.
• Proven ability to manage and configure VPNs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe network integration.
