Description

You will design, configure, and maintain network security infrastructure within a DevOps and Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and upgrade Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewall virtual instances using VDOM and VSX.
• Execute firewall requests and rule-base management in accordance with security policies.
• Deploy network software and infrastructure following established change management processes.
• Automate routine tasks and identify workflow inefficiencies to drive continuous improvement.
• Plan and execute firewall product roadmaps, including upgrades and new feature implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewall professional environments.
• Hands-on experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Checkpoint Smart-One.
• Strong expertise in Routing and Switching and Network Security.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network flows, interconnectivity, and performance issues.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers.
• Scripting capabilities in Shell, Python, or Perl.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: Fortinet FCP/FCSS, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, or Cisco CCNA.
• Familiarity with Algosec Security Management System.
