Description

You will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across backbone and datacenter environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network systems at layers 1 through 4.
• Perform break/fix operations and diagnose network issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and manage routing, switching, IP services, and network automation.
• Monitor and optimize internal routing protocols and day-to-day operations.
• Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in networking roles.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and network layers 1, 2, 3, and 4.
• Experience with routing, switching, and IP services.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS and Juniper OS.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, NVIDIA, and Avocent hardware.
• Understanding of Unix/Linux shells and scripting, specifically Python.
• Ability to manage technical projects and multiple priorities.
• Strong methodical troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Vendor certifications including CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIP.
