You will serve as the Tier III escalation point for complex networking issues and design secure infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and Data Center Fabric routing and switching solutions in large-scale environments.
- Act as the escalation point for Tier III support issues escalated from Tier I and II teams.
- Provide network engineering consulting, including assessments, design, and implementation of secure products.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve connectivity and traffic utilization problems.
- Manage and maintain client documentation, monthly reports, and infrastructure recommendations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours coverage and client upgrades.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on networking experience configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting enterprise networks.
- Deep expertise in LAN/WAN routing and switching.
- Cisco hardware proficiency, specifically Nexus.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for network connectivity and traffic.
- Ability to write clear, precise, and well-organized technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional IT experience.
Preferred Skills
- CCNP certification or equivalent working knowledge.
- Experience with Citrix load balancing and acceleration solutions.
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) implementation and deployment.
- RF design, wireless LAN surveys, and Cisco WLAN (WLCs, Prime).
- MSP or Professional Services experience.
