Description

You will design, support, and manage F5 and load balancing solutions across on-prem, multi-CSP, and hybrid environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and design F5 and load balancing solutions for critical applications.
• Troubleshoot complex issues within the Application Traffic Management environment, including F5 and AVI.
• Provide shift-oriented operational support, coordinating with network operations and engineering teams.
• Serve as a member of the 3rd level engineering escalation on-call rotation to ensure 24x7 availability.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of engineering experience installing and supporting load balancing technologies (F5, HA Proxy, or VMWare/AVI).
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, including application-level understanding.
• Experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in automation tools, specifically Ansible and Python.
• Familiarity with enterprise security policy knowledge and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical projects.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.

• Ability to consult on platform best practices with business partners.
