Description

You will manage and troubleshoot multi-vendor network infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Layer-2 and Layer-3 network troubleshooting and conduct Root-Cause Analysis with operations staff and vendors.
• Plan and execute network feasibility tests and proof of concept projects alongside systems engineering.
• Manage network hardware, software, and firmware certification processes.
• Maintain datacenter fabrics and load balancing solutions.
• Utilize lab environments and network equipment test sets for validation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper datacenter fabrics.
• Proficiency with NOS such as Junos and IOS-XR.
• Experience with load balancers including F5 and Brocade.
• Deep knowledge of MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, MBGP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Expertise in route policies, route-maps, and QoS.
• Working knowledge of VLAN, VRRP, GRE tunneling, and IPsec tunneling.
• Experience with Virtual Network Functions and hypervisors like VMware and KVM.
• Experience using test sets such as IXIA or Spirent.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting experience.
