Description

Manage network system administration to ensure availability, maintainability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Administer Cisco VPN, Firepower, IPS, and Prime to resolve service tickets and requests.
• Develop and document configurations for Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Catalyst, and 9300 switches for CJIS services.
• Standardize routine networking tasks by developing processes for Service Desk ticket submission.
• Support SolarWinds Orion, KIWI Syslog, and Savvius configurations.
• Execute unit and integration testing procedures and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network hardware and software technology.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco hardware switches, VPN, and IOS.
• Expertise in TCP/IP protocols and network test equipment, including Savvius OmniPeek.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills within router and switch infrastructures.
• Experience with CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Catalyst series switches, and NX-OS.
• Proficiency with 9300 switches and Network Quality of Service (QOS) techniques.
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Big IP (LTM, ASM, AFM, APM).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Network Management systems.
