Description

You will design and implement solutions for global low-latency, high-speed trading infrastructure within a high-performance network operations group.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and implement solutions to support low-latency, high-performance computing and secure execution.
• Manage complex routing systems using advanced networking technologies to meet specific customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize routing platforms and network systems.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Drive continuous improvement of network operations by evaluating new technologies and methods.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or systems integration.
• Extensive knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, and L2-VPNs.
• Deep expertise in Multicast (PIM SM/DM/SSM) and routing platforms such as ASR1K, ISRg2, and CRS-1/4/8.
• Advanced switching proficiency with Cisco Nexus, Cat3K, 4K, 6K (including SUP6e/6le/7e/7le/8e, SUP32, SUP720), and Arista.
• Strong understanding of switching concepts: STP (RSTP, PVSTP+), 802.1q trunking, CEF, ARP, DHCP snooping, TCAm, and Dynamic ARP inspection.
• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP, including TCP slow-start, duplicate Acknowledgments, retransmits, SACK, subnetting, and supernetting.
• Experience with testing suites such as IXIA, Spirent, Shundra, RFC2544, and IMIX/EMIX.
• Proficiency in UNIX or Linux environments.
• CCIE or equivalent professional certification.

Preferred Skills

• Additional networking or systems integration certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
