Description

You will design, install, and maintain network and server infrastructure for client projects in Muskegon, MI.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network hardware, including switches, firewalls, and virtual networks.
• Support the design of servers, host servers, and failover clusters.
• Perform qualification testing, disaster recovery testing, and FAT support with customers.
• Assist with system upgrades, virtualization implementations, and site commissioning.
• Support vendor connections to OT services including MES, PI, Data Analytics, DCS, and PLC/SCADA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT and network engineering.
• Proficiency with routing, switching, and bridging protocols such as BGP, RIP, and VLANs.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto hardware and security configurations.
• Experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, and backup/recovery systems.
• Understanding of IT security, cybersecurity, and antivirus protocols.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes and GAMP.
• Ability to set up remote access and manage time synchronization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MES, PI, Data Analytics, DCS, and PLC/SCADA systems.
