Description

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and operate enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN and cloud-connected networks.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and network services (VLANs, STP, DHCP, DNS, NAT).
  • Work on routing protocols and traffic engineering (BGP/OSPF), ensuring optimal paths and redundancy.
  • Support cloud networking constructs such as VPC/VNet, subnets, gateways, load balancers, and connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect).
  • Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability; proactively address bottlenecks and failures.
  • Implement and document network changes (CR/PR), standard operating procedures, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to enforce segmentation and security best practices.
  • Participate in on call/incident response, RCA, and continuous improvements.

Expertise You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking (routing/switching) and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of routing (BGP/OSPF), redundancy (HSRP/VRRP), and L2/L3 design patterns.
  • Exposure to firewall/VPN fundamentals and network security controls (ACLs, segmentation).
  • Working knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid connectivity.
  • Experience with network monitoring and logging tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Grafana, Zabbix or equivalents).
  • Ability to produce clear documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Automation exposure (Python/Ansible), SD-WAN, load balancers, or CDN basics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science/IT or equivalent practical experience
