You will design, configure, and test complex network topologies to validate product performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
Plan and build network topologies to support specific testing use cases.
Configure hardware, features, and traffic generators to emulate required environments.
Execute exhaustive test plans focusing on performance, scale, and weak points.
Troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis alongside development teams.
Communicate technical results and design recommendations to stakeholders.
Support TAC escalations and customer technical requests through demos and reproduction efforts.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience in a System Test or Solution Test role managing complex end-to-end environments.
Deep knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies including IP forwarding, IP multicast, OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, MPLS, eVPN, ECMP, VRRP, STP, RSTP, MST, PVST+, and Ethernet link aggregation (LACP).
Experience with Layer 2/3 switch administration using industry-standard CLI and SNMP.
Proficiency with Linux networking tools: ping, traceroute, tcpdump, ifconfig, ip link, ip route, arp, /proc/net, /proc/sys/net, vmstat, netstat, ttcp, iperf, and strace.
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or TCL.
Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or Computer Networking.
